Legendary items in Guild Wars 2

Weapons are special items of equipment that add active skills to your character. Different professions require different types of weapons

There are 16 different weapon types available, but they are linked to different professions - i.e. one class cannot use all weapons.

Legendary items are the most expensive items in an outfit, and often items cost a significant amount in gold from 2000 and higher.

Legendary weapons in Guild Wars 2 are divided into 4 categories:

- underwater (underwater only)

- left-handed (left-handed only)

- two-handed (occupies 2 slots)

- one-handed (can be carried in left, right or both hands)

Each weapon has its own Weapon Strength range, which affects the amount of damage you can inflict on your enemies. Additionally you can upgrade your weapon with an Upgrade Component, also known as an Upgrade Component.

One-handed:

This category includes the following types: Axe, Sword, Pistol, Mace, Dagger

One-handed:

Right-handed: Scepter

Left Handed: Battle Horn, Torch, Shield, Focus

Two-handed weapons:

Staff, Shortbow, Shotgun, Longbow, Hammer, Two-handed Sword

Submarine Weapon:

Trident, Harpoon Gun, Spear
