In the latest August update, we introduce the Trial of the Ancestors league, featuring 16 key skills for Atlas, improvements to the Defender and Chieftain classes, and 14 new support stones. Also, rush to recreate a player-favourite league, Forbidden Sanctuary.
Journey into the world of the afterlife
Fallen leaders from the ten Karui tribes battle it out in the arenas in a competition known as the Trial of the Ancestors. Exciting duels with these tribes await you. You will have to assemble a team of karui warriors and compete in the competition, defeating the tribal chiefs. Your talent and tactical skills will be rewarded with valuable trophies.
Take on the challenge of the tournament
In this league, you will be given the chance to take part in the "Trial of the Ancestors" using silver coins that can be passed on to other players. With these coins, you can gain access to the Karui afterlife world. In the initial stage, you will have a team of three Karui warriors.
At each stage of the tournament, you can choose which tribe to fight based on the reward it offers. You will be able to study the enemy team's location and tactically place your warriors to gain victory. With your team, you will compete to destroy the enemy team's totems and win the match.
Build your team
Winning tournaments awards favours from each tribe, which you can spend on recruiting new warriors and purchasing equipment to strengthen your team. Each tribe has its own characteristics, and you can choose warriors from different tribes to create a team that perfectly matches your strategy.
Realise your ambitions
Each victory is rewarded with valuable trophies. In addition to standard items, you'll be able to obtain unique rewards that are only available in Trial of the Ancestors. One of them are passive skill tree tattoos, which are engraved in your soul rather than on your skin. Applying the tattoos will change the characteristics of your passive skills.
If you can overpower all of your opponents and win the entire tournament, you may be rewarded with an additional prize from Hinekora - predictions. These items can be used to gain special effects. One prediction can be used per battle. Also, Hinekora can offer you a prediction of the result of crafting an item.
Unique treasures as a reward
Each of the ten Karui tribes holds a unique item that symbolises the spirit of the tribe. These valuable items are only available to the winners of the Trial of the Ancestors. Also, the goddess of death, Hinekora, has four powerful unique items in her arsenal, provided to the winners of the tournament.
Return to the Forbidden Sanctuary
After meeting Divinia in Act Ten, your adventures on the maps will lead to the discovery of Sanctuary items. These items, which are passed on to other players, represent entire levels of the Sanctuary.
